The American Le Mans Series has been serious about pushing motor racing toward the greener end of the spectrum, what with teams experimenting with everything from hybrid drivetrains to algal fuels to biodiesel. Now you can add yet another alt-fuel to the list we’ll see on the track: isobutanol.
