Val Kilmer, another bad debtor

Lately the stars become more and more poor. After the State of California filed a $3,594,409 lien against Tucker for his debts, now is New Jersey’s State turn to file against Val Kilmer’s debts. According to a lien filed by the IRS on July 15 in Jersey, the actor has a debt of $538,858 in unpaid federal taxes.
What is not yet sure is why the lien was filed in New Jersey, while Kilmer is originally from Los Angeles and has been living in New Mexico for the last 20 years.
