Suri Has Options!

 
 
Suri Cruise might be the daughter of two famous, actor parents but dad Tom Cruise says that his little girl can be whatever she wants to be!  Just because he and Katie are in showbiz, doesn't mean Suri has to follow that route - but it's OK if she does.
Cruise said, "She can be whatever she wants.  All my kids, whatever they want to do in life.  When I was growing up, I always wanted to travel the world.  I wanted to not just be enveloped by different cultures, but learn about their history and how they do things.  And that's how I raise my kids - so that they have full exposure to the world, and all different kinds of ideas and possibilities so that they can make choices themselves."
But Tom won't let his kids just sit back and coast through life either.
He added, "I do have a thing - if you want to do it, really do it.  Don't be passive about it.  And he has no problem with Suri becoming an actress.
"I'd love it.  Acting is work that I love.  I love to create life and give energy, create characters and create stories.  It's a lot of fun."
Cruise would also love to do a kids' film - something that Suri would enjoy.
He said, "I like to.  I don't have any right on the horizon.  I like those movies.  Some are really great, and it would just be fun."
